Sales Tax Policy

iPlayedX is required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to certain states in accordance with state and local tax laws.

When Sales Tax is Collected

We collect sales tax based on the shipping destination of your order. Tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on:

• The state and local jurisdiction where your order is being shipped
• The type of product being purchased
• Current tax rates at the time of purchase
• Any applicable exemptions

States Where We Collect Sales Tax

As of January 2026, we collect sales tax in the following states where we have established nexus:

• California
• Texas
• Florida
• New York
• Illinois
• Pennsylvania
• Ohio
• And additional states where required by law

Note: This list may change as tax laws evolve. The exact tax amount will be calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.

Tax Exemptions

If you are a tax-exempt organization (such as a non-profit, educational institution, or government entity), you may be eligible for a sales tax exemption.

To Request Tax Exemption:

1. Contact us at tax@iplayedx.com before placing your order
2. Provide a copy of your valid tax exemption certificate
3. Include your organization name and tax ID number
4. We will review and apply the exemption if approved

Important: Exemption certificates must be valid in the state where your order is being shipped.

Resale Certificates

If you are purchasing jerseys for resale, you may be eligible for a resale exemption. Contact us with your valid resale certificate before placing your order.

International Orders

We do not collect US sales tax on international orders. However, you may be responsible for customs duties, VAT, GST, or other taxes imposed by your country. These charges are not included in our prices and are the customer's responsibility.
